Ricky Eckenstine Obituary

    Ricky L. Eckenstine, 61, of Montoursville, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Gatehouse.

    Born September 20, 1958 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Lewis F. and Rosalie M. (Gower) Eckenstine.

    Ricky was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He was employed by Smurfit-Stone Containers.

    He is survived by a daughter, Brandi R. Hedges of Jersey Shore; two grandchildren; two brothers, Jack L. Eckenstine of Williamsport and Mark A. (Sonja Scott) Eckenstine of Jersey Shore; and a sister, Carol A. (Andy) Deutschel.

    Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

    The family suggest memorial contributions in Ricky's name be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the American Cancer Society at http://www.cancer.org/.
