Robin D. "Rocket" Allen

     Robin D. "Rocket" Allen, 70, of Avis, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Gatehouse.

     Born October 12, 1953 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter to the late Richard Hetzel and the former Mary Rhoads.

     Rocket was a graduate of Lock Haven High School. She worked as a manager of Victor Auto in Beech Creek and more recently at Shore Auto Parts.

     She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel E. Allen, they were united in marriage on June 6, 1980; three sons, Christopher M. (Lisa) Swartwood of Jersey Shore, Dustin W. (Crissie) Swartwood of Jersey Shore,and Gary L. (Carrie) Swartwood of Jersey Shore; daughters, Amy J. (James) Crowley of Jersey Shore and Danielle M. (Jacob) Leone of Jersey Shore; ten grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

      A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 with a memorial service beginning at 7p.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. The Rev. Dr. Kerry Aucker will officiate.
