Rodney A. Hostrander

     Rodney A. Hostrander, 61, of Rauchtown, passed away at home on Dec. 19, 2023.

     He was born on Sept 22, 1962, in Jersey Shore to Raymond and Letha Hostrander (Seacrest).

     Rodney married his wife, Cheryl, in Antes Fort on Dec. 20, 1986. They had a beautiful daughter together, Heidi Marie Hostrander. Rod and Cheryl shared nearly 29 years together before she preceded him in death. His father, Raymond Hostrander, has also preceded him in death.

     Rodney is survived by his loving daughter, Heidi Marie Hostrander; mother, Letha Hostrander; siblings, Frederick (Joanne) Hostrander and Mark (Lisa) Hostrander; and sister, Donna Hostrander.

     Rodney was a dedicated EMS and firefighter for numerous years. He served the community with his heart and soul. Rodney also worked at Hon Furniture Company for many years.

     There will be a private graveside service on Friday Dec. 22, 2023, where Rodney will be placed to rest next to his wife, Cheryl.
