Sandra Getgen Obituary

Sandra M. Getgen, 80, of Antes Fort, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at ProMedica in Jersey Shore.

Born December 11, 1942 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter to the late Floyd and Aldean McCloskey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Getgen Sr.; two sons, Mark McDonald and Tom McDonald; a brother, Greg McCloskey; and a sister, Janice Welshans.

She is survived by her daughters, Julie G. (Rob) Fisher, Jody L. (Rod) Lorson and Dawn McDonald; sons, James M. (Cindy) Getgen and Robin McDonald; brothers, Butch McCloskey and Shane Thomas; sister, Donna Overdorf; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her best friend, Marcie Gardner, and her dog, Rubie.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
