Sherry L. Getgen

     Sherry L. Getgen, 61, of Jersey Shore, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
     Born Nov. 6, 1960 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Thomas T. Reiber and the former Marlene H. Lehman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas R. Reiber Jr., and a sister, Jeanne I. Reiber.
     Sherry was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Earlier in her life she worked at Woolrich for 21 years and retired from Croda.
     She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Getgen; two sons, Jason M. Getgen of Rauchtown and Ryan W. Getgen of Jersey Shore; 2 grandchildren; and a sister, Terry L. (William) Kurtz of Loganton.
     A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends and family may call from 5 p.m. Monday, May 23, until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Pennycoff will officiate.
