Shirley Lou Apker

     Shirley Lou Apker, 72, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022 at the Wynwood House in State College.
     Born March 4, 1949 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter to the late William Otto Winters and the former Martha Ann Pletcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Allen Winters.
     She is survived by her son, Dwayne A. (Missy) Apker, of Trout Run; her sister, Vickey M. (Gary) Bardo, of Jersey Shore; and her grandson, Lucas Apker.
     Shirley was a 1967 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She enjoyed attending the Farmer's Market on Thursdays and always looked forward to the Fourth of July Town Meeting. She loved fishing with her Dad, and more recently with her Son, shopping with her sister and traveling with her family. She had many friends and would always lend a helping hand to anyone.
     A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022 in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
     The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Wynwood House for their exceptional care and love given to Shirley.
