Obituary

     Shirley L. Guinter, 86, formerly of Linden, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at The Williamsport Home.
     Born May 23, 1935 in Linden, she was a daughter to the late Harry Riddell and the former Lois Smith. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jan L. Guinter; and a sister, Norma Dunkleberger.
     In addition to faithfully serving the Lord, Shirley enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and water skiing.    She was a talented painter and enjoyed painting nature and rural landscapes.
     She is survived by two sons, Francis âGeneã Guinter, of  Blandon, Pa. and Ronald Guinter, of  Linden; a sister, Karen Powers, of Jersey Shore; a brother, Laverne Riddell, of Antes Fort; grandchildren, Janine, Tori and Eric; step grandchildren, Rich and Tim Sr.; great-grandchildren, Lance, Taelyr, Jenna, Taynisha, Tauntyonah, Mikale, Dominick, Aubra, Chance and Starr; step great-grandchildren, Christopher, Bradley, Nolan, Alisia, Vanessa, Tim Jr. and Allyson; great-great-grandchildren, Bellamy and Zara; and step great-great-grandchildren, Raegan, Sadie and Liam.
     A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. She will be laid to rest in the Woodward Twp. (Emery) Cemetery next to her husband.
     The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial donations be made to the Maranatha Bible Church, 19 Wagner Rd., Linden, PA 17744, or the church of your choice.
