Stanley D. Kline

     Stanley D. Kline, 90, of Lock Haven, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.

     Born May 21, 1933 in Lock Haven, he was a son to the late Robert N. Kline and the former Martha E. Dutton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois J. Kline on April 26, 2019, they were united in marriage on Oct. 19, 1956.

     Stanley honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Avis Fire Company, where he served as trustee for many years, Avis American Legion, Central PA Fire Association, and also the Volunteer Fireman's Association. He retired after 33 years of service from Textron as a machinist. He was a 1951 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

     He is survived by two sons, David J. (Tammy) Kline and Timothy J. (Elaine) Kline, both of Lock Haven; two daughters, Deborah G. Gibson, of Williamsport, and Terri R. Kline (Dwain Harbst), of Altoona; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, George N. Kline, of Florida.

     Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Welker Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Shumway will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Memorial Park at a later date.
