Obituary
Susan M. Maggs (Gardner), 65, of Jersey Shore, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at Geisinger, Danville.
Born Nov. 17, 1957 in Williamsport, she was a daughter to John W. Gardner Sr. and the former Virginia J. Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole L. Gardner; and two brothers, Steven M. Gardner and John W. Gardner Jr.
Susan worked at the UniMart in Jersey Shore for many years, and attended Crossroads Church in Jersey Shore.
She is survived by her sons, Jason A. (Angela) Gardner, Cory J. (Zoea) Maggs, and Steven M. (Staci) Gardner; daughters, Jamie M. Maggs and Jessica M. Pepperman; two sisters, Penny L. Shultz and Cheryl D. (Claude) Stump; a brother, Harold R. Gardner; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Street, Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home.
