Thomas W. O'Dell Sr.

     Thomas W. O'Dell Sr., 77, of Avis, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at his home.
     Born Jan. 29, 1944, in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late William P. O'Dell and the former Lydia Zerbe.
     Thomas was a member of the Avis United Methodist Church and the Labelle Vallee 232 F. & A.M. in Jersey Shore. He worked at the former Alcan Cable for 36 years. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
     He is survived by his loving wife, the former Patricia A. Bennett. they were united in marriage on June 19, 1965. Also surviving is his son, Thomas W. Jr. (Shirley) O'Dell of Avis; daughter, Tammy O. (Greg) Welshans of Rauchtown; brother, Fred (Judy) Waddell of Reedsville, N.C.; sisters, Pat Apker of South Williamsport, Sharan White of Jersey Shore and Shawn O'Dell of Woolrich; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
     Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
