Thomas E. Shaffer

     Thomas E. Shaffer 70 of Jersey Shore died Friday Jan. 28, 2022 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville Penna.
     Born April 6, 1951 in Harrisburg Pa. he was the son of William Shaffer Jr. and the former Mary E. Kinney.
     He was a retired trucker for Milton Transportation.
     He is survived by a daughter, Amanda L. Butler of Jersey Shore; 2 sons, George (Patricia) Weaver of Scranton and Nathan E. Shaffer of Huntington; 2 brothers, William O. (Betty Jane) Shaffer III of Newport, Pa. and Steven D. Shaffer of Carlisle; sister, Mary Ann (Charles) Toland of Duncannon, Pa; his companion of 20 years, Joan Sechrist, and her children Larry (April) Sechrist, Stephanie Bruner and Courtney Sechrist; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
     Thomas was preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert E. Shaffer and Richard L. Shaffer
     Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday March 5, 2022 at the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Chuch.
