Timothy L. Allen

     Timothy Lee Allen, 67, of Woodward Ave, Pine Creek Township, was called home to be with his Lord on June 16, 2025.

     Tim was born on March 29, 1958, in Williamsport, the son of the late John C. and Dorothy L. (Curry) Albright. He was a 1976 graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School.

     He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan R. (Miller) Allen; two brothers, Steven (Janelle Miller) Allen of Jersey Shore, and Sam (Sara) Aungst of Williamsport, sister-in-law Diana Allen, nieces Cynthia Borelli and Jacqueline (Brian) Moritz, both of Magnolia, DE; nephews Steven (Nina) Allen of Avis, and Warren (Sarah Olearchick) Aungst, of Lower Burrell, PA; five great-nephews, one great-niece, and a great-great-nephew; along with many cousins who were more like brothers and sisters.

     Tim worked in Shipping & Receiving for several area companies and spent 18 years for Avis America as the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. Tim was a very passionate fan of the New York Yankees, Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, having attended many games throughout his life. He enjoyed playing in several dart, pool, and quoit leagues, but his greatest competitive experience was playing the hot corner with his brothers, Steve and Sam, behind and beside him on a number of softball teams.

     He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 36, Jersey Shore, and a social member of the Jersey Shore VFW. He was a lover of classic rock, most especially the Beatles and Hybrid Ice. Tim’s love of music influenced many of his friends and family.

     A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Welker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Wildwood Cemetery.
