Warren C. Miller

     Warren C. Miller, 88, of Williamsport passed away on Veterans Day, November 11, 2023, at his home.

     Born on July 22, 1935, in Collomsville, he was the son of the late Fredrick and Catherine (Lorson) Miller. Warren shared 63 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Josette Tupper, of Mosquito Valley.

     He attended and graduated from Immaculate Conception School.  He is also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Bastress, PA. In 1958 Warren was drafted into the US Army on full-time active duty for 2 years and then 4 years Reserve Duty.  He was Honorably Discharged in 1964.  During his time in the Army, he was stationed in Seoul, Korea.  He was a member of the MooseLodge in South Williamsport.

     His favorite hobbies were Playing Cards, Hunting and Fishing, of which he has a few trophies as family keepsakes.  He also enjoyed assisting with the families large Garden or you could find him cutting Logs  on his Sawmill.  He loved to spoil his companion dog, Oli.

     Warren was a Carpenter most of his life.  He was self-employed with his late partner, Stephen Rogers for 30 years.  They owned/operated Miller, Rogers and Sons where they constructed affordable custom homes.

     In addition to his wife, Josette, he is survived by his 10 Children,  Lawrence Miller (Donna) of Montgomery, James Miller (Thuy Thi) of Jacksonville, FL, Edward Miller (Michelle) of Williamsport, Mary “Marci” Mahosky (Ross) of  Williamsport, Jonathan Miller (Phyllis) of Dauphin, PA, Julianne Miller of Jersey Shore, Warren “Charlie” Charles Miller (Kim) of Groton, CT, Eugene “Bene” Miller (Heidi) of Williamsport, Daniel Miller (Autumn) of Hunlock Creek, PA, Kenneth Miller (Jodi) of Williamsport.

     Grandchildren:  Larry, Jr. and Michael Miller; Kimberly and Noah Miller, Jamie, Wyatt and Allison;   Alicia Wrench (Joshua), Carissa Thompson (Clark), Jacinta, Teresa, Amarilis and Joseph Miller;  Jennifer Enge (Bryan), Jason Mahosky (Alexandria), Jared Mahosky (Kayla), Jordan Mahosky (Keely);  Amy Yanek (Michael), Jessica Lincoln (Joshua), Sara Miller;  Courtney Miller (Cory), Ashlee Blum, Tony and Olivia Ramos;  Becky and Ryan Miller;  Brianna McCloskey, Ezekiel, Ezra and Zaccheus Miller, Isa Miller(deceased), Izabela Miller (deceased)and Izaiah Miller(deceased);  Sade Cromley (Zachary), Jeanna and Mason Pritchard, Samantha and Cedric Miller;  Bradley Shoemaker (Autumn), Morgan and Makenzie Thomas.

     Great-Grandchildren:  Lily, Alexis and Mason Miller;   Brielle Miller;   Caleb, Isaac, Adeline and Leah Wrench;  Tatum Miller;  Tyler, Zoe and Lilah Enge;  Colt Mahosky;  Cecilia Yanek;  Nina Lincoln;  Odelia, Soren, Emmelina Button;    Fletcher and Phoebee Blum, Holley and Rikkee Faubion;   Xavier Cromley;   Adelina and Karsin Shoemaker, Paisley Shoemaker (deceased)

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Danneker and brother, Edward Miller, Sr.  He is survived by his brother, Joseph Miller and his sister, Edna Rogers “Sis”.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6001 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport, PA 17702. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.  He will be laid to rest in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
