Wilbur “Leroy” L. Cressman

     Wilbur L. "Leroy" Cressman, 85, of Jersey Shore, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Manor Care Health Services, Jersey Shore.
     Born Jan. 4, 1935 in Jersey Shore, he was a son to the late Hettie Dunlap.
     Leroy worked at Jersey Shore Area School District as a custodian for 47 years.
     You could always catch him spending time sitting on his front porch where he would talk to anyone who passed by. He enjoyed gardening, especially tending to his flowers and tomato plants.
     He is survived by his brother, Ray Dunlap; nephews, Chad (Kate) Dunlap, and Keith (Shannon) Dunlap; great-nephews, Colton Dunlap, and Kalob Mauck; great-nieces, Kylie Koch, Kally Dunlap, and Kendall Dunlap; a great-great-nephew, Caiden Mandel; and his best friend, Richard "Dick" Phleegor.
     Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Welker Funeral Home.
