William E. Schreck

     William E. Schreck, 78, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital. 

     Born October 27, 1946 in Jersey Shore PA, he was a son to the late William and Mary Jane Schreck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Lisa Olbeter, and a brother, Shawn Schreck. 

     William worked in communications for both Siemens and Bell Labs. He was also an EMT and a firefighter. William was a devoted member of Eagle Mountain Word of Faith Church in Williamsport for many years. He enjoyed being the sound technician. 

     He is survived by his loving wife, the former Virginia R. Russell; a son, David (Marilyn) Moffett, of Lititz, son-in-law Shawn Olbeter and four grandchildren, Jenna and Derek Moffett, and Lily and Lani Olbeter. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Eagle Mountain Word of Faith Church,1804 Bloomingrove Rd, Williamsport, Pa 17701.
