     Cynthia Ann Stonerook, 70, of Jersey Shore, died Monday morning June 26, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
     Born April 12, 1947 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, she was the daughter of Spencer H. Layne and the former Jean B. Wright.
     She was a graduate of the Lock Haven High school and attended Lock Haven University. For many years she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore. After 45 years as a lab technician she retired from the Lock Haven Hospital. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and playing bingo, but her greatest love was spending quality time with her grandchildren.
     She is survived by her husband, Daniel H. Stonerook, they were united in marriage April 27, 1969. Also surviving are two sons, James S. (Brenda) Stonerook, of Blanchard and Daniel M. (Robyn) Stonerook, of Jersey Shore; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.
    Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday June 29, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St., Jersey Shore. A visitation will be Thursday June 29 from 10 a.m. until time of services in the church. Pastor Becky Cuddeback will officiate.
     In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St., Jersey Shore PA 17740.
