    Ruth I. Arduini, 93, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
    Born June 28, 1925 in Lehighton, Pa., she was a daughter to the late Stewart Izer and the former Flossie Ports. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore D. Arduini, on June 23, 2014. They were united in marriage on Nov. 24, 1951. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stewart Izer Jr. and Robert Izer; and a sister, Betty Kerzaya.
    Ruth graduated from Lehighton High School in 1943 and Mansfield College in 1947. She taught at the Jersey Shore School District from 1947 to 1980. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Jersey Shore.
    Surviving are her children, Michael S. (Patricia) Arduini, of Mifflinburg, and Nancy J. (Gregory) Hatches, of Muncy; two grandchildren, Patty (Mike) Riley and Rachel (Dustin) Manotti; five great-grandchildren, McKenna and Ryan Riley, and Adelinna, Renzo and Roman Manotti.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 118 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore. There will be no public visitation. Father Bert Kozen will officiate.
    She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
    Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church, the Jersey Shore Public Library, 110 Oliver St., or the Jersey Shore Historical Society, 200 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
