   Mary L. Edelstein, 63, of Loganton, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, at AristaCare Health Services, Loyalsock.
   Born June 15, 1955, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter to George R. Brown and the former Hilda A. Walker.
   Mary was a 1973 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She was employed at Penn State University in food service.
   She was a member of the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.).
   Surviving is her loving husband, Daniel L. Edelstein, they were united in marriage on Sept. 30, 1973, in Jersey Shore; three daughters, Korrie N. (Robert Jr.) Carnes, of Jersey Shore, Katharine L. (Mark) Schall, of Salladasburg, and Brandie L. (D.J., Jr.) Conway, of Lock Haven; six granddaughters; and two brothers, Robert W. Brown, of Linden and John D. (Leisa) Brown, of Oval.
   A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, 235 S. Main St., Jersey Shore. The Rev. Charlie Winkelman will officiate. Friends and family may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, August 10, 2018, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.
   Family will provide flowers and request memorial contributions be made in her name to the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy and prayers are going out to Dan and the entire family. Mary was always one of the sweetest, kindest friends I have ever had. I will truly miss her as I know many others will as well. Heaven has added another angel to its rank. Save us all a place, Mary.
